Took a couple of visits before he did my root canal . He wanted to make sure the infection was gone. I admit I was getting tired of waiting. On the 3rd visit he knew I was upset....I told him. I asked him if he was going to do it that day and he had already done it. Worth the wait. Definitely painless.
