I have been a patient off and on for over 5 years....Dr. Wicks has surgically repaired my trigger finger issues on both my hands 'cept one finger left to be fixed. He is up on latest techniques and I don't need to be under general anesthesia. I learned to be patient with healing times because they varied with each surgery including both carpal tunnel surgeries. I recommend this doctor for your hand surgeries!

Dr Wicks refused to consider setting up PT after Carpal Tunnel surgery. Friends that have had the surgery say that PT is critical. All over the web I read the PT after CT dramatically reduces pain and accelerates healing. Dr Wicks thinks he knows better than me what is right for my body. Either that or he is a Minion for the insurance companies wishes.

I wouldn't go back to him if he was the only dr. in the world! That's why I have to have my hip done over again and I had it done on March 3,2016 and I'm looking for a new dr. to do it over again. Dr. Wicks is A BAD DOCTOR STAY AWAY FROM HIM OR YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE WHAT EVER HE HAS DONE ON YOU OVER AGAIN!

I am approximately 5 years out from gastroc resection on my calves. I still struggle to walk, I cannot run or jog. I am seeing a specialist for severe numbness in my toes and balls of my feet. The spring in my step is gone. My feet are half a size longer. I cannot believe this is a legitimate remedy for ANY FOOT/KNEE/ANKLE/CALF issue. DO NOT LET THIS DOCTOR TALK YOU INTO IT. You will regret it for the for the rest of your life. Stop doing this surgery Wicks!!

Dr. Wicks was VERY thorough in explaining what was wrong and also what needed to be done. He had confidence which gave me confidence in his ability. Also it helped to know that another orthopedic PA had gone to him for surgerg and highly recommended Dr. Wicks. I had a shattered/broken heel that required plates and screws and three years later, I've had no problems and walk without pain.
