If you are the type of person who follows Dr's orders and never questions, you will probably do fine. He seems to be a knowledgable man. However, in my experience, when questioned or challenged, he seems sarcastic and irritated and appears to lose his professional attitude, especially if you do not "sit up and fly right." He jumps to conclusions and will not communicate to resolution. He walked out and left me hanging, without refills or a reference. Appealing to adminisrative staff was of no benefit.
I LOVE Dr. Hudes and staff!! I think he is very warm and has a great sense of humor and dry wit. I have been going to Dr. Hudes for three plus years and would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr.Hudes has a wonderful location and does his colonscopies onsite. The office is very nice and inviting. Dr.Hudes struggles in the compassion area and is slightly arrogant. Before using him, know that he charges a large fee to transfer medical records.
Great staff. Obviously there may have been problems but now its a great experience. Sure you may wait, because he takes the time to talk to each patient.
I disagree witht he other patient comments-I have been a patient in this practice for well over 6 years-throught that time yes there has been staff turn over which can result in some issues especially with billing-but the long standing back office team as well as the office administrator are a perfect-10. Dr. Hudes is extremely capable and caring. He accurately diagnosed and treated a problem that 3 other doctors did not. I highly recommend Dr Hudes.
Both my husband and I have had unpleasant experiences with Dr. Hudes and his office staff. A serious medical condition was not reported to my husband and was instantly diagnosed by another doctor. It had obviously been present when he was seen by Dr. Hudes. He was arrogant and very disconnected to both of us when seen on several visits. We have both left his practice and are seeing other physicians. We were charged incorrectly and treated most unprofessionally.
Office staff extremely helpful and understanding, especially office manager. Dr. Hudes is quite pretentious and does not value patient-physician relationship. Concur with other review about primary concern is with payment and billing. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with any physician. Have worked in health care field directly with physicians for over 12 years and am currently affiliated with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
