Dr Hudes confirmed that I had celiac disease based on blood work ordered by PCP, and a endoscopy done by dr Raina. He spent 5 minutes with me, told me not to eat anything with gluten and to join a support group. Well, three years later due to continued problems I find that my gut has not healed and I have osteoporosis. This doctor is a prick and has no care for his patients. Even sadder? I heard him tell his staff to go online to rate him for better ratings - who does that? Just proves what a poor excuse of a doctor he is! DO NOT GO TO HIM - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! HE'S A WORLDCLASS JACKASS!
I've been seeing Dr. Hudes for around 14 years for IBS. He's the only doctor that took my condition seriously and helped my symptoms to subside. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to listen to your concerns. Excellent, knowledgeable doctor -top in his field. I highly recommend him. He's always been very professional and personable.
I went to Hudes for intestinal issues I was having and he wasted tens of thousands of dollars and months of my time in pain only to have the last simple test reveal the actual problem was just an infection in my colon. Well, even that simple diagnosis was too much for him b/c then he put me on 2 incorrect antibiotics. I had to fire him and go back to my internist who then questioned why he was not using the correct meds. I am now healed with a REAL doctor who actually knows her medicine. dr hudes is awful he cared less about me or my issues and was pompus. His bedside manner is awful and all he cares about is his ego. I even heard him tell staff to go online and boost his ratings on these types of sites so if you see high ratings that is why. Who does that? Someone who wants to pretend hes a great doctor when he is the last person in the world who I would recommend to anyone. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - FIND SOMEONE ELSE - ANYONE! HE IS GOD AWFUL!
I have long been strickened (31 years) with a digestive disease and through the years have seen many gastroenterologists from up and down the east coast. Approximately 4 years ago I started seeing Dr. Hudes and will not change again. He is the most compassionate, knowledgeable and soluiton driven doctor that has ever taken care of me. I have since moved out of the area, however I make a 1 & 1/2 hour trip to see him. When you find a doctor at this level you tend to keep him.
I came to Dr. Hudes with a life threatening disease. He and his practice afforded me the best treatment, care and respect that I could ever expect. His course of treatment saved my life. Dr. Hudes is the ultimate professional and I recommend him without reservation. I will be forever grateful to him.
cares more about billing and making money than patient's time - office mgr is not too nice but other staff is good.
