My mom, who had never had issues walking, suddenly had severe weakness in her legs to the point of needing to use a walker. After being sent to St. V for a neurosurgery consult and she was seen by Dr. Hoeflinger. She was DISCHARGED with NO interventions. She was told that despite her OBVIOUS AND SEVERE symptoms that her spinal compression didn't meet criteria for surgery.
