I've been coming hear for years. Now, they gave me my glasses without a case, didn't even check that they fit me, or if my glasses needed adjustment. I asked about this and they said it's because I have IEHP. Wow, so I guess they only care about you if you have certain eye plans.
My family and I have been going to Dr. Higa for 5 years and we don’t go anywhere else. His staff is very welcoming and he is very informative and all around cool doc. My kids love his office and he has helped my husband find a specialist for his diabetic eye issues. I recommend him to anyone who ask.

He was they only Dr. (Out of many!) to help me understand the challenges I had with astigmatism and trying to wear contacts. When I thought I was crazy always telling (other) Dr's., "I don't know why these contacts don't feel right", they just through a different brand at me telling me to try those. Dr. Higa took the time to explain to me WHY contacts may never work for me having astigmatism. I finally got the answers I was looking for and I don't feel crazy anymore. He treats his patients right
Dr. Higa is the BEST optometrist! He is courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. He explains things thoroughly and is awesome with kids! Staff is fantastic too! Highly recommend!
