Yes, the wait was a little long but Dr. Lewis is worth the wait!
My family and I have been going to Jenks Family Phys since 2005, yes the wait is long, but I'd rather wait for a doc that has respect for me & my family & will take the time to listen. I left a pediatrician who's office was very quick to get you in, but they shunned me for being a homeschool family and they did not like to answer my questions about the medications they were prescribing to my children, so again I say I'd rather wait for Dr Lewis. If you want an appt with him you have to make it in advance.
Horribly long wait both in the waiting room as well as back in the exam rooms. Every time I make an appointment with Dr. Lewis, it ends up being with a PA instead. Multiple bad experiences with office staff as they do not return phone calls. Both the nurses and the PA unashamedly beg for future business--wanting me to leave my current pediatrician and OB/GYN for their practice.
Expect to wait a long time. They over book and don't really care that you sit for long periods waiting. Dr Lewis is great, one of the best bedside manners I've encountered.
Dr. Lewis is excellent and really listens. I don't feel rushed during my visits. He takes good care of me and has always followed up on my lab reports and ongoing care.
Dr. Lewis is very intelligent, highly educated, well-trained, and was even chief resident in medical school. In addition, he is a good family man whose children adore him. His staff is one of the best I have ever seen. My family has been very pleased with the medical care received at Jenks Family Physicians over the years.
I LOVE DR. LEWIS! He's a great physician and actually listens to you, unlike many doctors. He's compassionate and makes you feel at ease. The staff is very professional and caring. Dr. Lewis rocks! Highly recommend!
I am a nurse and both dr Lewis and dr Wakefield are outstanding! Kind and knowledgeable with great bedside manner. Although their office staff, particularly the front office is terribly rude and inept! I cannot even count how many mistakes they have made. Believe me, I know stuff happens. But admit your mistake; smile and apologize; never blame the patient. The latest fiasco was trying to explain my identity after someone booked a patient with the same FIRST name as mine in my appointment! Scary stuff!
Friendly and good listener. Really took the time to help my elderly mother when no one else would. Staff even helped us in and out of building!
