Dr. Clowers is professional and went in depth with details regarding what was going on with my ankle. However, after several appointments I felt as though he had nothing to offer me. I felt all I was doing was paying my copay and getting nothing out of it. First visit he assessed my pain and looked at the x-rays that had been done at the Norman orthopedic urgent care that referred me to him (showed I have 2 fractures following a surgery by another doctor 5 months prior, that I had previously been released from). This was a follow up visit post surgery. Dr. Clowers did an excellent job correcting some previous surgeries done by a podiatrist. He is always professional, friendly, listens to his patients and engages them in discussions about their pre and post operative care.
Dr. Clowers performed a triple arthrodesis (fusion) of my left ankle and foot which was totally collapsed, this was one of my more painful surgeries due tot he amount of work he had to do, also this surgery is rated one of the more painful orthopedic surgeries due to the affected extremity being weight bearing and the amount of nerve endings, I will have to have the same fusion on my right ankle in the next year or so. Dr. Clowers is always very thorough and detailed in his explanations, as well as his approach to diagnosing the problem.
Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and professional. We were in and out no wait time at all.
