Simply the BEST. He has amazing bedside manner. He is calming, knowledgeable, and really down to earth— never condescending or impatient with my questions. It was easy to contact him with questions and he responded quickly. His onsite surgical suite is fantastic too. Anesthesiologist was mildly condescending when I had concerns but he did fine and I had no nausea or complications and waking up was really gentle. 100% recommend.
I came in with an undiagnosed infection under my right breast, and a capsular contracture (Ct scan showed a rupture, Dr Rueben continued to say it wasn’t.) I Was fevering, in an immense amount of pain and my right breast was double the size of the left side. Dr Ruben treated me like I was a hypochondriac. He never addressed the symptoms with an antibiotic, and I progressively got worse for the next 3 weeks while waiting for my augmentation to change out the implants.
