Dr. Durbhakula is great, but the system she works for, which is INOVA, is really terrible and frustrating. To get an appointment, you have to call and wait for 15-20 minutes to get to a scheduler. Any time you call, you are calling center that services several doctor offices and the representative does not know anything much about the office nor can answer any questions you need that is if your call gets through at. One of the best in the D.C./Metro area, scheduled for a " Redo" surgery this month.
Terrible. Almost killed my daughter. Allowed her to get infected. Poor listener of the parents. I would not recommend him. I would not even allow him to operate on my dog. His team did not observe contact precautions, wiped their noses with their hands then handled my baby and her incision. Totally non-sterile. He is a total disappointment to me. I have heard similar stories from other parents who had to have their children transferred away from Fairfax Hospital.
Dr. Durbhakula is great! I, too, was a little sad that my physician of many years departed the practice, but I am totally happy with my new doctor, Dr. Durbhakula. She is very smart, listens well and is both kind and patient in her explanations. She's super!
She is the best. In these times when people don't care too much about people any more (or so it seems) Dr. Ratterman is very caring and kind. She takes her time and truly cares about your needs. We need more of her. She goes above and beyond. She has been my Doctor for over 8 years and yes it's true it sometimes is hard to get an appointment but I work my scheduled appointments around hers. Dr. Rogan has effectively treated and help me control my vasular disease for over 18 years. He probably saved my life after a quintuple bypass in 1993. He diagnosed and set an effective treatment program fora severe infection that caused congestive heart failure. I highly recommend him
She is a very nice woman, but I have been at this practice for 2 years and have only seen her 2 times. She is supposed to be my primary care physician. I have a parathyroid adenoma and inflammation in my throat. She told me it was just anxiety and acid reflux. She gave me a RX for xanax and prilosec. No other testing or bloodwork until I began having serious symtoms and finally left the worst practice ever for a very good internist. He took me seriously and ran appropriate tests to diagnose me. Terrible Staffing! Office staffing are unwillingness to help, respond, and answer questions (even simple office question). Wait time was more than 1 hour when there's only 3-4 people waiting. There billing office is ruthless, rude, and do not care about you. My insurance increased co-pay by $10. They didn't charge me the extra $10 during my visit and sent me a bill 4 month later with late charges and interest. They will not send you initial bills or warning. They will just slap you with fees on top of fees to make money off ... read more
Terrible at returning results. I went in with stomach pains and he agreed something was not right and that I needed to get some bloodwork and x-rays done immediately. Here it is a week and a half later and he cant tell me the results and keeps "forgetting" to look at them. I was finally told the only way to guarantee he looks at them is if I pay for another visit which makes him have to give me attention to then grab the results to check them out. I will never use him or again or go to his practice!
