I have 2 bottom wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Blatter. Both of the teeth are completely horizontal impacted. I choose to go with local anesthesia only because I don't like the side effects of general and I don't mind the drilling noise. As long as it doesnt hurt during the procedure its fine with me. He did 2 MAJOR tooth extractions on me at once. Said I had the longest deepest roots hes ever seen. With saying that, you can imagine the process endured to get them out. Regardless of the circumstances he was in fully control, using ALL his strength to pull them, he maintained a steady, professional and empathetic demeanor. Not once did I become anxious or feel like he wasn't fully in control of the procedure the WHOLE time! NO desire to have anymore teeth extracted, but if I had too, I wouldn't think twice.
Dr. Blatter did the extraction of my son's 4 wisdom teeth - he had little pain and it was a fast recovery. Dr. Blatter took the time to go over the procedure with us ahead of time and answered all our questions. A good experience - I would recommend him.
Staff very welcoming. Great with getting insurance coverage situated. No pain at this office. Although Dr Blatter needs to explain procedures to his patients better.
I do not recommend anyone ever see this dentist. He extracted my wisdom teeth in 2001. I developed dry sockets and when my mother called to tell him there was a problem, he said "It's supposed to hurt" and wouldn't see my until 8 days later. My jawbone was exposed the entire time. I developed TMD and was unable to eat solid food for 6 months, and did not fully recover until more than a year later. I was in more pain than I had even been, before or since. Excellent treatment of wisdom teeth removal for my daughter. Accomodating for her college schedule and recovery happened without incident. Recomment Dr. Blatter wholeheartedly!
