Dr. Welcome is the epitome of his profession in every way. His primary focus as a physician is providing the best and most appropriate medical care for his patients yet while maintaining an outstanding and comfortable doctor patient relationship. He is always open to questions and does not hesitate to explain in detail and to the patient's full understanding. He is above reproach and a true asset to the medical community and Jervey Eye Group. I would recommend Dr. Welcome without reservation
I've been a patient of Dr. Welcome's for 10 years, come June 2019. I wish I could say it was going to be 15 years with him, for glaucoma had already done damage to my optic nerve by the time of my first visit. Don't put off seeing Dr. Welcome if you have glaucoma or show any signs of it. He will help to control your eye pressure with drops, but if that is not enough, he is an excellent surgeon. Dr. Welcome and his staff are great; Allstate is not the only one you are in good hands with.
Dr. Welcome began treating an eye problem owing to cataract surgery that did not work. He saved my eye and in my opinion he walks on water. His bedside manner is superb and his staff is the best, every time I go in for a checkup it is a good experience. I would recommend his approach over all my doctors and I have several.
Dr. Welcome is a physician willing to spend time with his patients in order to determine their needs.
Good teacher, intelligent and up-to-date on current treatment options and technology, a true advocate for my eye health for almost twenty years.
Dr Caldwell has no respect or care for his patients. He does not even look at you when he talks to you, With that said, I would like to mention that he does not communicate to the patient things that are going on with their own eyes, Instead. he talks to his nurse about the patient in front of them and he does not answer any questions the patient may have. He could not explain the issue he saw. On top of all that, you have to wait forever for this socially inept doctor to even come in the room.
Friendly and Trustworthy. I've had 1 surgery with Dr. Welcome and it was successful with no complications. He came recommended by the Duke Eye Center and I'm glad for it.
He figures out accurately what is wrong and always has a great recommendation!
