I have been going to practice for over 20 years. I drive from Philadelphia just for the doctors and the office. I originally saw dr. Fein, who retired about 8 years ago. Dr Brett Hartman is an excellent Doctor. The office staff, has been short once or twice. As a manager myself I realize they deal with the insurance company, the sick and dying and they have always been there for me. I would recommend him to anybody including my children going. Dr. himself seems pretty good. But just an awful and unprofessional medical and office support staff that, unfortunately, takes away from that MD goodness. Very unprofessional, quite rude, surprising defensive and argumentative when asking detailed questions or if you ask to talk with your doctor, sometimes obfuscating with paperwork, policies and procedures, contemptuous and flat out "flaky" with health facts, records and data. Perhaps they are overwhelmed and under supported.
I have been with Dr Hartmann for around 5 years now. He's a great doctor. He's kind, smart, and takes great care of me when I need to be seen. The only thing that I could say negatively is office hours could be later at least one day a week.
Whenever I have to see Dr. Hartmann he is wonderful. He has a great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. The only downside that it can be difficult to make after-work appointments due to office hours.
