I just completed my practicum with Dr. Morgan and it was my pleasure to have her as one of my preceptors. Dr. Morgan is an excellent preceptor and psychiatric provider. She has a heart for the patients, and she makes sure she provides the patients with the best treatment suitable for them through pharmacological treatment and also help provide therapy for the patients, so that they can have therapeutic treatment. Dr. Morgan cares about her patients' overall wellbeing and the patients are grateful for her. Dr. Morgan made my clinical experience very enjoyable. She provided a space that allowed me to use my newly learned skills and ask questions without fear of reprimand.
This practitioner does not care about the patient's mental health and the effects of being off of their medication. I had an issue with my former psychiatrist and found this person who I thought would help. I filled out all of my paperwork and scheduled my appointment which was 1 month away. I felt like I could push through without my medication until then, I also constantly told this practitioner's secretary that I was out of medication.
