I woke up scared because the cancer of my breast was hard and a pus was coming thru the skin. He calmed me and is handling it.
Dr. Surmrall has a great bedside manner, made my husband’s rare cancer diagnosis very easy to accept. It was seamless, my husband didn’t even realize that he was being diagnosed with cancer– I had to tell him myself. I highly recommend him.

My father was hospitalized exactly 2 weeks after receiving his FIRST chemo infusion. He called Dr. Sumrall to tell him he did not want to continue the chemo because of its horrible side effects. Dr. Sumrall called my father back and showed ZERO compassion. their conversation was less than 30 seconds. Dr. Sumrall, his N.P. and his P.A.s are compassionate, competent and personable. The front office staff are professional and friendly. However, the inability to communicate via phone is uncomprehensible and unexcusable. When I first went there, a patient was yelling at the front desk about the lack of communication and customer service. He said he would never return to their office.
