Totally no hospitality! I am in from out of town, looking for a good place for tea. I found you on Google only to be turned away. Why, because I had was alone and had no reservation. The floor was empty with only one tea party. The host offered no accommodations for a person from out of town. She offered no alternative! She showed no inititive to offer hospitality or motive to make a sale. Poor hospitality is a sign of poor management. I'll never make a reservation... I did not feel welcome.

This high tea spot near Grant Park was an enjoyable experience! The gentle jazz playing along with the cute decor made for a lovely 2 hours spent. The tea hostess was kind and prompt with the service. The tea snacks were almost two much for two people to eat so the value was great. Although we weren’t huge fans of the light bites, we still appreciated the variety! There are also books for sale inside which cost $1 per book. For $30 a person, we felt it was a great few hours!
Don’t waste your money! This was the worst I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to several high tea establishments. There were literally 2 types of sandwiches, one palmetto cheese spread and the other egg, and a salty store brought quiche. The desserts? Cheap store brought mini cupcakes and cookies. They served pots of tea and served it with sugar and half frozen milk which had curdled and was not edible. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
