Don’t waste your money! This was the worst I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to several high tea establishments. There were literally 2 types of sandwiches, one palmetto cheese spread and the other egg, and a salty store brought quiche. The desserts? Cheap store brought mini cupcakes and cookies. They served pots of tea and served it with sugar and half frozen milk which had curdled and was not edible. Do yourself a favor and stay away. The waitress said that most of the food served was cooked in house. What a joke! I’m not su... read more

While the setting itself was charming vintage and whimsically styled and the service truly impeccable, the overall high tea experience fell short of expectations. Especially, having prepaid for a group of 15 and having seen images featuring delicate cream desserts and fresh fruit, it was disappointing to be served a tier of store-bought cakes and rather stale sandwiches. No fruit or scones. The tea itself was enjoyable and we had a great time chatting, but the execution of the high tea felt unprepared and did not reflect the... read more

Adding to the poor reviews, unfortunately. I’m sorry to say things have definitely not improved since they left Candler Park. I even tracked down the owner on Facebook and sent her a PM about how bad our experience was, and she never replied, but has obviously seen the message. She doesn’t appear to live in Atlanta, which is probably the issue. Must be some kind of tax haven because it certainly isn’t a serious business anymore.

I think this place is a hit or miss from reading other reviews vs. what we experienced. Its a fun time with the right people, but nothing to keep you coming back. I love the atmosphere, the place was very quaint and decorated nicely. The servers were kind and attentive. I love they support a charity cause. However, on our visit there were no scones or tea cakes, and definitely not homemade. The pastries were desserts from Walmart like chocolate chip cookies, mini cupcakes with sprinkles and mini brownies. The "clotted cream"... read more

I love a high tea experience, but not this one. The ambiance is lovely, but the service and quality of the food were lacking and a major disappointment. The desserts (cookies, mini brownies, mini cupcakes and mini donuts) were clearly bought from Publix or Target. There wasn’t a scone in sight. The quiche was good but the little sandwiches (egg salad and pimento) were only fine. Our waitress dropped off the tea kettles (metal, nothing cute) with little explanation, and we never saw her again until the end. No refills on wate... read more
