Dr. Patel has been my neurologist for over 20 years. He is always very pleasant and spends time listening to what has been going on with my Fibromyalgia and other issues. He is very understanding (even when I decided to get another opinion, etc.), great about trying various meds/treatments and always stays up to date on the latest medical news. I recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who needs a neurologist. His office staff treat me with respect and kindness, are always helpful and schedule my appointm
I like him as a person. He’s not a detailed neurologist. He doesn’t read test results thorough, nor does he question test results that have an impossible report. This has happened twice with my test.
I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor. Had severe neck pain and Dr. Patel was thorough and made sure a fix was"found" - best doc in Valdosta!
What a wonderful experience. Dr. Patel talked to me about my symptoms, explained the possible causes and then supported the potential solutions. He left me at ease and when I left I knew that everything was going to be just fine. His staff was warm and professional. What a great place to go if you need help with pain! They know what they are doing at The NEUROLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF VALDOSTA.
Dr. Patel is very caring and very attentive to details. My first visit he listened completely to my history and looked for a way to fix the problems and not just put a band aid on them. Dr. Patel genuinely cares about his patients. You will likely have to wait a bit to see him, but to me, it is well worth the wait!
