I lived in Virginia for about 5 years and I saw Dr. Desai for most (all?) of them. She's the first doctor who actually listened to what I had to say about my body. She's the first doctor who realized that something was wrong with me, and her support, kindness, and understanding lead to my actual diagnosis. She is a godsend and I hope some day she moves to New York.

Dr Desai ls one of the most compassionate caring Doctors, I have encountered. A rare breed. If you really want to put your health\life in her hands you have made an excellent choice.

If I could give this Doctor's office, Inova Primary Care Shirlington negative rating I would, based on the the service I received or actually NOT received. I've had a TERRIBLE experience with this office! 1. The phone number the office provides DOES not get answered. I have called in the morning, mid-day and early evening, for an entire week. Does not make a difference. 2. When I did get connected to the office twice with the help of the the call desk/call center (long wait on the phone line), the lady who answered the call ... read more
