Don’t go to Dr. Das. He arrived two hours late for colonoscopy and hurriedly said he would not be there when I woke up because he had another hospital to get to. He said To make an appointment to get procedure results. A week later. Dr. Das said I needed to have another colonoscopy in 6 months. He was vague and spoke quickly. He had found two polyps and removed them. Said he did not have lab results. Did not suspect cancer. I was never able to get lab results from him or his office.
Worked all night on my Dad and we got great news!! He is so young but works like the pro he is. He was more concerned about my Dad's safety than other doctors were. I felt that he took precautions and listened to us when the other doctors on Dad's case didnt.
Dr Das is awesome. Great credentials - Harvard! and it shows. He walked us along and took us on a journey of this thoughts as he diagnosed and took care of my mom. He took care of my mom who had diverticulitis and a fistula. We were very pleased and would name him the best doctor, and my wife and I have had colonoscopies with him because we consider him one of our family caretakers.
I was referred by my OB/Gyn. Dr. Das is very intelligent professional and kind. On my initial visit he covered colon concerns, and each time I saw him his expertise stood out. He checked in with me pre-op and post-op and spent a great deal of time making sure my hospital stay was perfect. In comparison to my research on procedural expectations, I am very happy with my experience and would recommend Dr. Das to any member of my family or my friends.
5 STARS! Don't let other surgeons fool you. They are not "experts". Quite possibly one of the most genuinely honest and caring doctors I've ever had the pleasure of visiting -- no exaggeration.
SImply the best. Wanted to add my two cents in. He took his time with me when others would not. I saw two other colorectal surgeons from other groups, and they were trying to rush me to surgery. Even though Dr Das performed the same kind of colon surgery on me, it was a completely different experience. He is a great doctor in that he listens to his patients, takes time with them and is very compassionate. Given the nature of the diseases for which someone would need to have him as a doctor
Dr. Bidhan Das is not only a wonderful surgeon, but also a very compassionate human being, he is concern about helping his patients in every posible way, very professional, personable, a great listener, he is warm, approachable, pleasant, He never have this superior attitude of being about his patient in any way way, like so many other doctor's are known for. I would rate him as the best in his field.
Dr. Das is very helpful and friendly. After going to two other surgeons who kept trying to operate on me (within six months)), he is not pushy and only has your best interest in mind. They remembered who I am when I came back for my next visit, so checking in was easy.
Research your surgeon! Based on my first appointment withhim he seems very warm and comforting. He answered all my questions no matter how long it took.
