Dr Betsy Palal is a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor. She genuinely cares and my health has improved since I have been coming to her. I have been her patient for almost 4 years. She has an assistant named Shawn that has always returned my calls promptly and answered any questions that I have. Recently, he helped me step by step to see if I was qualified for the glp1 bridge program, which I did not qualify but he thoroughly checked and got answers back to me promptly
Useless office staff. Nobody does their job. Halfway through the year and I’ve yet to see my doctor because she canceled on me back in February. Wasn’t able to get another appointment until late June. Then they forget to send in my lab order so I wait for an hour at Quest Diagnostics for no reason. Been up since 3 AM fasting for no reason. These people love wasting everyone’s time.
Dr. Betsy Palal is simply a life saver.
As a first-time patient I expected she would at least document my history. She did not. Because of this, my insurance will not cover the insulin that I am not allergic to. Had she bothered to review my labs, she would have addressed the fact that my Synthroid dosage is too high. She did not even bother to check my diabetic feet, and did not check for any indicators nor order any testing after I reported the possibility of peripheral arterial disease as advised by my last endocrinologist.
