Dr Wortman is so caring and compassionate!! Can talk to her about anything!! Followed her from her warwick office to Woonsocket. (RI driver mentality)
She takes the time to explain things and doesn’t pass any judgment! She’s thorough!! everything she does is for the best interest of her patient. Her bedside manner is like no other she makes you feel comfortable at a visit that most people dread her patients actually enjoy coming in to see her for their yearly appts because she takes the time and effort! I just recently moved to Rhode Island from Arkansas, and was referred to her through WellOne Primary Care. My husband and I have struggled for over 12 years to get pregnant, and no one ever listened to me or cared- they just kept saying "you are still young, stop worrying." She was the first doctor to actually listen to me and took me seriously. She is hands down the best OB I have ever had! She is caring and makes sure she answers all of your questions and makes sure you understand everything before leaving the appointment. She really cares for her patients. She helped me through all of my complicated pregnancies including my stillbirth, and when she delivered my "rainbow" baby she bought me rainbow-colored cookie's. Problem with HPV positive. Dr Wortman has a very non judge mental way about her. I have felt comfortable discussing my health issues and have relied on her medical experience. I have followed her from Warwick to Woonsocket. Feeling comfortable is worth the drive.
Absolute best Doctor!
Dr. Wortman is a skilled, compassionate doctor and an amazing person. I presented with the obscure symptoms of a rare and aggressive type of breast cancer. She knew right away what it was. She got me in for a mammogram within 2 hours. Over the next few months while I was undergoing chemo she checked in with me just to see how I was doing. When I had a bilateral mastectomy at Kent she came to visit me. She goes above and beyond. I’ve recommended her to my daughter and several friends and they’ve all loved her.
Best OB/GYN I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many (moved around a lot). She is caring, compassionate, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond during my last (difficult) pregnancy, and I couldn’t imagine having a better doctor than her.
