Dr. C has been my go to doc when I need a GOOD orthopedic doctor! He is the man! My surgeon for over 20 years! Love this man, he is an outstanding surgeon and well respected!
My exam date was 4-16-2024. He was supposed to discuss if I needed surgery or not. I was opposed to surgery, so I made the appointment to appease my Pain Management Dr, not for myself, as I have already had one spinal fusion and refuse to repeat that procedure. Dr Crowell was not at all pleased with me. Dr. Crowell is very professional and has a beautiful spirit that helps the patient and the family feel safe in his care.
I will start off by saying a man is only as good as his word and from my experience I come to acknowledge that his word is that of no good his standard are far below where they should be and he happened to be a man that done a bad job on my lower back and even after surgery he never put me in physical therapy and I kept asking this man about that and now every doctor is telling me that my biggest problem in pain is coming from the fact that I never did have physical therapy by this doctor and he never should have allowed me ... read more
Dr. Crowell is an excellent Dr. He took time to explain in detail his plan. Surgery was not the first option. He made me fill relaxed and very comfortable. An amazing Dr. I would recommend him to anyone.
Don't be conned into believing he's a Neurologist or Neurosurgeon like I did. He's nothing more than a smooth talking Orthopedic specialist which I later learned has had very little training in neurological surgery, nor is he board certified by the AMA in the field. He attempted to schedule an unnecessary and very costly surgical procedure which I rejected and got a second and third opinion. Guess what? These two other Neurosurgeons both agreed Crowell was wrong and surgery was not necessary.
Love him very good matters
Very good Dr. Explains everything in detail. I had back surgery and it was exactly what he told me. I trust this Dr completely.
