Dr. Overley used to be an attentive, skilled surgeon — someone I trusted for multiple procedures. But something has clearly changed. Was dealing with toe pain and swelling in my great right toe for months. Finally looked into a podiatrist and came across Dr Overly here on the island. Being in the medical field, you are always extra careful on who you choose for a surgeon. While he did not recommend surgery immediately (and appreciative of that), the scans ended up showing my condition had limited options. I fell and broke my ankle in 4 places at the end of September and was lucky to have been referred to Dr Overley. He saw me the same day and operated on my ankle 3 days later. He did such an incredible job that I was able to start PT 5 weeks later and walk (slowly) without a boot 2 weeks later. Dr Overly was always accessible throughout my recovery to answer questions and provide support - which I really appreciated.
