Dr. Dehner explained step by step before my procedures. I had a stricture that required 2 procedures. Then I had the REZUME procedure. That was in 2017 and I have had no problems. Dehner is the BEST !!
He recommended a sling operation to control leakage after prostate removal and radiation. The leakage was worse after this procedure. My new urologist told me that this surgery should not have been done after radiation. I would not recommend him.
I have been going to Doctor Dehner for many years. He had to remove one of my kidneys because I had cancer. He is very kind and knowledgeable. He does test to make sure the cancer doesn’t come up somewhere else. I trust him. I have referred several people to him. He is The Best!!
This doctor and his staff will not return calls he spends 2 or 3 minutes with you gives you almost no info and says surgery is required no other options after I said i seek a second opinion he or his staff will return the calls or emails and you can’t get a straight answer from anyone in the office he has new offices so I guess he needs to pay for it somehow run away from him he has yet to address the reason for the visit to begin with I’ll never use Nashville urology or Dr Dehner for anything

DO NOT USE THIS DR.!!! He nearly killed me in Nov 2017(well technically he did..his negligence caused my heart to FLATLINE) I went in for prostate cancer for radical prostectamy. That part of surgery went fine but they didn't get catheter all the way into my bladder which caused me to start having cramps that night in my recovery room, because my bladder couldn't drain. Amazing physician! Cant say enough positive things. Would recommend to everyone.
I’ve worked professionally with Dr. Dehner for over 10 years in the operating room. He has a level of professionalism and compassion that’s missing in many surgeons. When my dad and brother needed a urologist, there’s was never a question in my mind who they should see. He has helped my dad manage a serious condition with non invasive methods and never once pushed him for something more. Fabulous doctor.
