I was referred to Dr. DuBois to determine the cause of a limited range of motion with my arms. During my office visit I was X-rayed and Dr. DuBois did an initial examination. Ultimately he suggested I get an MRI on my shoulder. He also offered to follow-up with a phone call to discuss the MRI results. I appreciated this offer since it eliminated a 45 minute drive. Dr. DuBois, on my initial visit, was informative and reassuring. My surgery was a breeze; I slept right through it. Ha, ha! His staff is open, helpful and just excellent. My healing and recovery went as easily as I expected. In my six week follow up, his plan for the rest of my recovery was explained clearly.I strongly recommend him and his wonderful staff.
An elderly woman that I care for went to this doctors in hopes that he would help her because she was told he is the best doctor for this type of surgery. This doctor told this 87 year old woman that she would be better then ever and so she trusted him and paid him what he asked and she was cleared for surgery. He was very good Doctor .explaining what I need to do with my left shoulder . And He did give a shot and he very gentle ,i did not even fell it .
Dr. Dubois is an excellent surgeon. The first time I met him for my initial visit before surgery he was so warm and so confident and made me feel like I had known him forever. Everyone I asked about him and how he was as a surgeon told me that I would not want anybody else to do my surgery. Following over a year after a botched surgery and a second surgery to confirm that I needed a shoulder replacement, I was thankfully recommended to Dr. Dubois. Needless, to say I was extremely nervous and concerned about a full shoulder replacement, but during my first meeting with Dr. Dubois my concerns were alleviated by his years of experience, knowledge, encouragement and empathy. Everyone, nurses, receptionist, and Dr. Dubois were absolutely the best. Friendly, considerate, caring and just on top of everything. This was my first time going to the Ambulatory clinic and it was far better than having to go to the hospital.
Ben has done both my shoulders and is simply the best.
It was a pleasure talking with Dr. Dubois during a first time pre-surgical consultation. His reputation and training are superior to most. We discussed surgical options, and he answered my questions regarding reverse shoulder arthroplasty. He seemed open and honest and I did not feel rushed. My only slightly negative comment is that he did not have my shoulder radiographs available to view while discussing their content.
