He performed endoscopic carpal tunnel release one both hands. One went well and the other was problematic immediately after surgery. Despite several communications with him, on a follow up visit, he claimed nothing else could be done. He then asked me 'Would you like to get a lawyer'. A complaint was filed with New York State.He's unprofessional and evaded a correctible situation because he apparently felt it would reflect poorly on him. Another surgeon successfully corrected his error.

Excellent doctor very professional. He really cares and compassionate. After surgery of my husband the next day he call to make sure everything is ok.
Friendly atmosphere, easy to understand explanation. No he is NOT my Family. I guess I wish he was, very friendly, nice person

I have a partially torn (3/4) scapholunate ligament. I was inclined to go through with a surgery. Dr. Berenfeld was prompt, professional and polite. Explained all pros and cons of the surgery and suggested not to rush and to wait and see if the wrist would get better. Haven't had the surgery and it's been 4 month since the injury. I feel that I made the right decision although I guess only time will tell. 90% back to normal. Back to light workouts,etc. Great Doctor.
