I will never know if he's a good doctor because his staff is TERRIBLE. No compassion, No referrals, bad attitudes. The ER told me to follow up with him within 48 hours and they wont see me til end of January and my illness is getting worse by the minute.
Emergency room follow up visit was referred to Dr Leff and was told by the ER doctor that they would fit me into the schedule as I am a follow up from the hospital and he is the on call ENT. Called to make an appointment and front desk said they couldn’t give me an appointment until end of January and would turn me away if I showed up.
AVOID Dr Benjamin Leff who is RUDE, ARROGANT, CONDESCENDING and INCOMPASSIONATE. Sadly Dr G left the office and Dr Leff became my ENT by default. I regret not seeing the reviews before mine here. Primarily because of his arrogance and non-compassion, he failed to treat me correctly resulting in heath are negligence. REVIEW other entires before seriously considering him. Dr Leff took hus time in seeing me which was much appreciated. However he told me ALL of my issues were related to me being fat, numerous times, infront of my son. I went in scared and didn't even realized the depth of his words and actions until later. I wanted to love him but he did the typical male doctor gaslighting behavior to a middleaged, overweight woman. Yes I am overweight and I own that completely. Even though he didnt remember me, I met dr leff 16 years ago. When my thyroid developed questionable nodules I didnt want to see anyone but him. Dr took his time and explained everything. Was very thorough with his exam and still has the best bedside manner.
