I just recently had an ER visit for kidney stones. I am on charity at the hospital because of poor income. I got a follow up call from Dr. Maples nurse about follow up. I explained that I was uninsured and did not have the money to pay for an office visit. She told me to go ahead and come in the next morning for just a urine check. When I got to the office today for urine check, I got the run around and was told I would not be checked without an office visit and $75 dollars up front.
