Disappointed in Misdiagnosis and Lack of Accountability I brought my 330i to Dr. Beemer for help diagnosing a front suspension noise. They charged $225 for a diagnostic and told me I needed to replace both front strut assemblies and mounts — quoting over $1,400 for the repair. However, after some basic investigation at home — bouncing the front end, removing the rubber cap, and observing the strut tower — I discovered the actual issue: the passenger side strut nut was loose.
