In 2002, My wife sought out the professional assistance of Dr. Awwa, psychiatrist who works together with the Connecticut Behavioral Health Associates, P.C. During the initial consultation with Dr. Awwa, he was made aware of the suicidal thoughts of my wife. HOWEVER, the initial consultation which I also attended with my wife, the medical notes are missing. Dr. Awwa prescribed medication for my wife. Awwa never helped me with my problems. All he ever did was see me for all of 5 minutes, give me drugs, and basically only saw me once a month. He almost never listened to what I said, and he even kicked me out when I was at a low point in my life, and thought I needed him most. He promised to try to get me to a therapist of some sort, as pills were only making me more miserable, and he never delivered on his promise.
