I had a very positive experience with Dr Lowes. I was very nervous and she was calm, patient and gave me several options for my care. The options were practical and well explained – at every point in the process I felt assured. Dr Lowes is backed up by an incredible team who help to manage the practice, they are helpful and have excellent communication protocols. Following the guidance provided by Dr Lowes (and her excellent surgical skills) meant my post-surgery recovery went really well.
Dr Basia Lowe is kind, professional and very thorough. I saw her for a consultation about a hysterectomy, and she explained everything in depth, which really helped put my mind at ease about such a big procedure. Her secretaries are also extremely helpful, especially with organising hospital bookings. I felt very well cared for and supported.
I would not recommend Dr. Basia Lowes. I arrived at my appointment experiencing significant medical exhaustion, hoping for a collaborative partner in my care. Instead, I was met with a provider who complained about being "short on time and running late" and made me feel guilty for admin issues out of my control and a burden for the complexity of my referral. One of my life changing strokes of luck was finding Dr Basia. I came to her with a long and complex case and never looked back. Meticulous attention to detail, empathetic, thoughtful in ways most doctors are not, her staff is a great reflection of that as well. Pre and post operative care is one of the best i’ve had. A good doctor really does make a difference on your recovery - but not just because of the medication they prescribe. Thank you Dr Basia!
I cannot recommend Dr Lowes highly enough. After being dismissed countless times by GPs regarding various women's health struggles, Dr Lowes approached my case with empathy and genuine care. She was very thorough in her approach to getting answers and finding solutions, and is an absolute expert in her field. Her compassionate and holistic approach to women's health is commendable.
