Dr Glanzman, throughout the many years my family has had him for our doctor has been nothing less than kind, thorough and excellent. All those years he was in his own private practice and had the time for all his patients. He also had a wonderful office staff. It wasnt until NYU Langone took over all of our doctors and overwhelmed the good doctors with so many clients that nobody is getting good care anymore. I called Dr. Glanzmans office in November 2024 and was told the earliest appointment would be February 2025. OK.. I guess that’s the lead time these days. Come 4 days before the appointment, a rep from his office called and said he needs to cancel that appointment, and the next appointment available would be 2 months out..what?.. OK I guess … well after making that appointment.. a few weeks later.. I get another call from his office to say that that appointment will be cancelled until further notice. Made an appointment for a new patient told 3 month wait fine made the appointment and waited. Called 2 days before saying had a family emergency and would need to reschedule that’s fine understand things happen. Next appointment is 2 and a half months away. I’m sorry what?? You cancel an appointment and accommodation needs to be made and the next available should be with in a week or two max. I had to take off from work to make the appointment and then you pull this. LATEST: Colonoscopy today -- Dr. Glanzman and his entire staff were exceptional, from Lisa & team at the desk to the admitting nurse to the post-op nurse Kimberly. Also, the anaesthesiologist Dr. Modhi was excellent in manner and expertise. (The prep for the colonoscopy is awful, but such an important procedure.) PREVIOUS: A first-rate gastroenterologist.
