Very highly informed doctor. She wants to be sure you get the full picture and that no bureaucracy gets in between you and your care. She always has a thoughtful response to any information I bring to the appointment. She's very transparent in her reasons and the trade-offs of medical decisions. Other doctors praise how she answers questions and sends information over immediately. If you are the sort to look up the latest medical research on your diagnosis, this is the doctor for you.
DO NOT SEE HER. She told me menopause was in my head bc my bloodwork was "normal" and that it was all in my head, and I was manifesting physically...SHE WAS WRONG. I saw someone else, at The Women's clinic on Elizabeth Street, and they did a saliva hormone test. I now use bioidentical hormone replacement therapy to manage my symptoms. Thanks for making me feel crazy and suicidal Dr. Widom, you are a horrible doctor.
