Thorough, attentive
Dr Cortez is guilty of insurance discrimination. I have a voice message of her explaining why she does not take medicaid. I had been a long term patient & followed her everywhere always referring family, friends and clients to her until the day I learned she is only in it for the money.
My experience has not been favorable with the Indian Ripple location. I was referred to my first apt on 5/16/22 where I had a biopsy of my scalp and labs drawn. My follow up apt was 5/31/22 where I was disappointed when I asked about my labs and was told by the nurse, the Dr said everything looks good, you can go. I left and cried bcuz I knew something was wrong with me. Fast-forward to my next referral which was set for 2/14/24. At this apt they called me a new patient. Excellent dermatologist!. Dr. Cortez is always on time and does not rush through appointments. Over the past 2 years she has helped to calm my acne and now we are working on scar healing through advising on multiple targeted treatments/referrals.
