Poor communicators. Can seldom reach a human. If they do call back it’s a week later. Portal didn’t work. I was called back to the lab on my first lab visit and she took a man who arrived after me. Was wondering if it was a race thing. First thing the Dr. wanted to do was prescribe Ozempic, or Mounjaro & then Jardience. Hmmm. Can we give a 0 star? Arrived at 10:15 for 10:45 follow-up appointment. It is now 12:45 and still not out! In fact the office is currently closed for lunch time and no one can get into the office. Can drive to Columbus GA, have follow-up and be back home in less time. HIGHLY recommend any other endocrinologist other than this one no matter who they are. Guess they consider their time more valuable than the patient.
Years ago this practice was much better. Now I wish there was another endocrinologist in my area! Either no one picked up my calls or someone hung up on me when I was talking. They submitted the wrong codes in my insurance claims. As a result, I received balances. Both my insurance and I tried to resolve the billing problems. And guess what, no one picked up the calls. To start I love Kristen she is an awesome PA. I knew the minute she said she was leaving that I would have a difficult time getting my meds done correctly I believe I’m the only pt they see that has XLH and no one really knows anything about the disease or does any research on it I really wish I lived closer to Vanderbilt or Birmingham al because they have drs who know and keep up to date or are researchers on xlh. I will present only the facts and let potential new patients make their own decision. I moved to Auburn about three years ago and needed a new Endo. My labs and RX have been stable for over 15-years and therefore my medicine was previously provided for one year at a time. I am now required to have (costly) labs and a follow-up visit in person every 90-days to have my RX renewed.
