Came to Cortland Dental for a second opinion. Got a reasonably priced crown and bridge here. Didn't upsell me on root canal I didn't need, front desk staff helpful and friendly. Very happy with the result.
Three years ago I went in for a small cavity. He drilled a massive chunk out of my tooth, working so fast, bits of tooth were flying everywhere like a horror movie. Chunks of healthy tooth left in my mouth afterward. He did not properly disinfect and I got in infection later which I had to treat myself until I could afford to get a root canal from my usual dentist in Mississippi. Burned me during a root canal then blamed me and then gave me a tooth infection so now half my face is swollen and I can't eat anything
I had a 11:00 am appointment this morning and I arrived on time. When I walked in, I noticed the small waiting room was packed with people. One of the receptionists told me to have a seat. About five minutes later a young man walked and I overheard him say to the receptionist that he had an appointment at 11:00 am. How is it possible for two persons to have appointments exactly at the same time?! I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. People kept coming and going. Do NOT go here. Choose dental students in Rochester or ANY other option. Their extractions are nothing short of barbaric. And they told my daughter she needed 12 root canals and crowns... I chose to get a 2nd opinion, and paid ($50) for a consultation with a NON-medicaid dentist and all my daughter needed was fillings. Not one single root canal, and the dentist was appauled. We applied for the care credit program with that dentist and all of her teeth that were "so bad" were fixed with simple fillings for a grand total of $1... read more
