Dr. Khamsi was very attentive and listened closely. Was not rushed during the visit. He offered great options instead of surgery. I highly recommend him.
I had my lower back surgery by him. Now I am am almost pain free
I find it worthless to go to anymore appts with Dr. Khamsi as he will not discuss my problems (spinal problems) with me. Everything I ask he refers me to my primary care physician. He actually slipped out of the door before I had time to ask for meds, even though I told him I needed more. He is a very intelligent man, but is a typical surgeon according to my husband (he was an associate professor of surgery at the Chicago Med School). He wants to do surgery , but doesn't want to do follow-up care.
Great, but health grades needs to change this... Dr. Babak Khamsi is a guy. He is an amazing, and considerate doctor as well.
He was so kind. This was the second time seeing him. He took extra time to explain my procedure, listend and answered all of my questions. I actually felt bad that he had to spend so long on my case - these skills are very rare, and there are a lot of patients who need healing too. Even though my spinal condition is very serious, (4 level cervical spinal fusion), I am comfortable in his hands, and not afraid because he cares, and he is very honest about the likely prognosis.
