Hands down the WORST experience I’ve ever had at Cedars Sinai. From the moment she entered the room, she was dismissive, rude arrogant. She was completely unprofessional and unprepared for my consultation , and had never even reviewed my health issues and prior procedures. I instantly knew I’d NEVER let this woman touch me. Her attitude is just deplorable. She’s a complete stain on Cedars reputation. I’ve always had such great care from doctors at Cedars, so this horrible doctor is a first for me. What a disappointment!!
My elderly mother has been a patient of Dr. Far for many years. Dr. Far is attentive , knowledgeable and kind in her approach and treatment. She is a doctor we trust and value.
I accompanied my almost 80 yo Dad to see this pain specialist. As soon as she walked into the examining room she was hostile, arrogant, and dismissive. She let it be known that she was a specialist and pions like us have little entree to seek her guidance. She simply dismissed my seriously ill Dad and offered us a printout of Gastroenterologists, no medical referral, no orders for further medical studies, just a trite, “wish you the best”. It’s no wonder we were able to secure an almost immediate appointment w her.
Terrible terrible terrible doctor… treated my mom who was going in for an epidural with such DISREGARD and disgust! 2 minutes before the procedure she asked my mom why she was even doing it?? And she’s the surgeon! When I walked in and was told my mom could only get 2/4 shots done… I walked in and she told me word for word “your mom is too anxious I can’t do anything with her” ….. who speaks to a patient like that? My moms blood pressure dropped to 72/50 which the nurses were so kind enough to walk me through what happened. ... read more
I am completely disappointed with my visit to Dr. Azita Far. I did not receive from her any explanations for my complaints - pain in the lower back and hip, nor specific recommendations to alleviate my condition. In fact, she was unable to provide us with any professional assistance.
