Routine bunion surgery. Ended up getting infected, but he insisted it was not because I didn’t have a temperature. It was red, and swollen and oozing at one point. Had two rounds of antibiotics over two month period. Went to my GP. He extracted fluid from my toe that looked like yellow mucus. I brought my daughter in twice for the same ingrown toenail. Both times he did the bare minimum and now a week after our last visit it is infected again. Time to find a new doctor.

Very nice (as was all of the staff), but seemed to dismiss half of the issue I described to him that did not match up with his diagnosis and performed a steroid injection on me that actually worsened the issue in my foot. I trusted that a steroid injection would be appropriate for the symptoms that I described to him, but in retrospect I feel it was performed unnecessarily. Dr. Latif is professional as well as performs teaching in a kind, calm manner. He is never rushed and gives his patients the needed time they deserve to make the appropriate choices about their treatment. I have had 2 foot surgeries with him. Staff is also wonderful.

I would recommend Dr. Latif to anyone who needs foot care. Dr. Latif has been very professional and I can say I am no longer embarrassed to show my feet.
