I had the same experience as every other negative review. Avi also told me that he was a "non-surgical orthopedic doctor". In other words, if you have a real injury and don't need 3 months of stretching, he's probably not your man. I strongly recommend not wasting your time.
Kind and competent. Dr Grunin worked with me on my timetable to get my knee the attention it needed befor e my insurance lapsed (I got a new job and there was a two month wait period). He called me back within a matter of hours after I called his office and took time with me on the phone and took time with me in the office. I never got the feeling that he had other things that he should be doing or other places he'd rather be. Having experienced other treatment elsewhere, this kind of attention and care means the world!
I recently met with Dr Grunin regarding issues with arm numbness and cervical narrowing as referred by my PCP. Dr Grunin was exceptionally present, professional and personable. I went to Dr. Grunin after suffering an injury to my knee in a motor vehicle accident. While at work, I was a passenger in a vehicle that got hit by a drunk driver. I did not have any fractures, but lots of aches and pains afterwards. Most notably was swelling and pain on my right knee, which even now, months after the accident, still hurts me and does not look anything like its counterpart on my other leg.
