Dr Maini saved my life when I was brought to St Joe's ER by ambulance after Dr Mathew Romano perforated my large and small intestine during a routine colonoscopy. Dr Maini canceled other scheduled surgeries that day because I had sepsis dealing into my blood stream from the botched colonoscopy by Dr Romano. Dr Maini is kind, gentle, understanding. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Atul Maini, I had a serious hernia and he did the surgery, he did fantastic job, made my health a priority when I had problems arise, he went above and beyond to make sure I was seen immediately, as someone who has anxiety with hospitals and past doctors experiences he is fantastic and actually cares.
Dr. Miani was professional and his staff was very pleasant. I had a double hernia surgery . Dr. Maini explained everything clearly before the surgery. Surgery went well and I am healed and feeling great . Dr. Maini also explained that it was very important for me to follow the post surgery instructions or I may have complications. I have had other surgeries and did not follow the after surgery instructions and payed for it . I followed exactly as he instructed and everything turned out as it should .
