Excellent experience my first visit at Dr Jain’s office. Reception, wait time, Staff, and of course Dr Jain were all very professional, personal, and efficient. Dr Jain’s helped me understand why my ophthalmologist referred me and exactly how we would proceed under Dr Jain’s care. The office was very busy, yet no one was waiting very long as their eyes dilated, tests were taken, and Dr Jain provided exceptional patient care. I wish every medical office I visit was as helpful as Dr Jain’s!
Great staff. But I feel safe with Dr Jain. He has helped me with a partially detached retina which has stayed intact. Today he told me why my vision is blurry ( no cataracts) and gave me the solution. So talented, my favorite nerd with a wonderful bedside manner!
I’ve known Dr. Jain for years. I have retina issues and he has been excellent in taking care of me. He takes time during my appointment to make sure I understand everything, and clarifies answers to any of my questions.

I admire Dr. Jain for his kindness and his ability to draw trust and confidence toward doctor and patient. He explained to me clearly what he saw in my retina. Perhaps he felt and understood my anxiety but he was quick in telling me not to worry. If necessary there is treatment that can be used. I was relieved and thanked him for his understanding.

Dr. Jain is an outstanding physician. As a scientist and cancer patient, I have seen dozens of doctors in the San Diego area and Dr. Jain is the most intelligent, thoughtful, and caring physician I have encountered. He has a keen interest in developing new solutions in his field (and I gather he has several patents) and his scientific acumen enables him to combine his research interests with patient care to a degree I rarely see. Dr. Jain is awesome and I trust him completely with my care. He’s definitely top of his field. My only issue is the wait time in his office and the slow response time when I call to get in touch. I think they are going to upgrade their in-person call service but the wait times are just too long. It seems unreasonable to expect a doctor’s appointment to take more than 2 hours when you only see him for 15 minutes. Better scheduling might help? I hope they can fix this.
My wife and I both are treated by Dr. Jain. He is very knowledgable and listens to our concerns and works with us to meet our needs. When there is a negative reaction to a drug he finds alternatives that work. He works well with his staff who keeps the clinic running well.
