Dr. Sabnis is in transition in terms of changing offices and setting up, but I have to say it is incredibly distressing that she doesn't contact patients, make appointments (there is no staff or phone number to reach her at), etc. There is no therapy, but basically a 5 minute/10 miute visit to go over meds (though she does take the time to listen, but doesn't offer any advice). I've been seeing Dr Sabnis for many years. She just up and left. How do you just disappear and leave your patients wondering? And psych meds aren't anything we can suddenly stop safely. I'm so hurt because I trusted her.
Been try to contact her for over a week. Went to the office today o a gut feeling.come to find out she pack up and closed the office. This was confirmed my building security. 4/10/14
Great Dr. My brother has been seeing her for over a year.I can't begin to describe how he was before becoming her patient.Every day for the past 8 years I would cry if the phone rang late at night thinking I would be told he overdosed.She did something I thought was impossible She saved his life !!!!!
Dr Sabnis has been my therapist/medication supply for 3 years. Throughout this time she has helped me get off the opiate's which I am gratefull. I don't think she should be practicing medicine. She is an addiction specialist, and has gotten me addicted to another drug now. She has on many occasions given me incorect prescriptions(more than I should have taken), not kept up with my medications(having to wait a week or more for my refills), some of the medications she has me on are addicting, having me go into a detox situatio... read more
I was told on my first visit to go on disability. Dr. Sabnis continued to write prescriptions and (belated) notes to my employer for me, but when I appeared with disability papers, I was told that she could not in good conscience fill them out (she said that she only meant disability for the rest of the school year - and that I was a white American - not disabled.) Seven months and half my life savings later my new doctor cannot get records from her. Neither Blue Cross nor my new doctor can get hold of her. She owes me a few... read more
