On August 2, I tore my Achilles tendon while on a tennis court. 3 days later, I saw Dr. Bowles for my first time ever. Two days after that, I was in the operating room getting reparative surgery. Four months later, I hiked to the top of an active volcano in Guatmela (8,300 feet). And about a week after that, I was back on the tennis court for the first time.
