Dealing with a severe case of sciatica, pain. I made an appointment for today. Friday.May 2nd showed up for my 4pm appointment, I was told 1. That the doctor was not in today 2. That the appointment I made was not even in the system. Totally unacceptable...
BEWARE!! My harrowing ordeal commenced on March 28th, 2022, with a laminectomy performed by Dr. Ashish K. Sahai at Boca Outpatient, 501 Glades Rd. Following the surgery, I received minimal post-op instructions and was discharged. The nightmare unfolded on March 31st when I woke up with severe back stiffness, excruciating pain, and a throbbing headache. I decided to go back in June 2023 to Dr Sahai even though there was big trouble with Sahai’s billing department in 2019 ( double billing etc). But he is a competent surgeon. I had to pay on 06/28 $ 248 for a visit upfront even though I had no copay ( Cigna). Then billing charged me 10 days later through Cigna $ 114 as Cigna in network patient.
