my father was a patient of Dr. Armen Derboghossian about 5 years ago, and after two surgeries for his prostate issue, it has recently become worse. I gave them a call to see if I can speak with the doctor for five minutes about my fathers worsening condition. the front desk lady had the gall to say that its been too long since he was a patient and he would have to stop by in person. we live in another state, how am I supposed to book an appointment for a five minute conversation that can be done over the phone. i am so appal... read more

My recent visit to Dr. Armen Derboghossian's office was terrible, and I won't go back or recommend it to anyone. They only accept cash payments, which wasn't mentioned when I booked my appointment. They demanded payment before the doctor would see me, refusing credit cards or later billing. When I offered to bring cash later in the day, they said no. I am compelled to share my disappointing experience with Dr. Armen Derboghossians and his medical staff. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for an update on my father's critical health condition, we have not received any callbacks. We had the the worst experience with this doctor and his staff. They don’t care about the patient, and they are not even answering the phone calls. There’s an appointment for surgery and they failed to do it on their appointed day. They didn’t call before to tell us about the cancellation before the appointment . After we try to contact them to find out what’s going on the Doctor did not even pick up the phone. Dr. Derboghossians is good doctor. I came to him with urological problems due to an autoimmune disorder. He immediately identified the possible issue I was having and was very thorough and empathetic. He was familiar with autoimmune disorder problems, something that I’m finding a lot of doctors aren’t as familiar with. I would recommend him.

Unfortunately, the practice does not care about patients. My father has been his patient for about 2 years. He went to ER due of complications and the ER referred to see him within 1-2 days (this is called urgent appointment after ER discharge to remove foley catheter and assess his current situation). After transferring all the documents and calling the front dest few times, I received NO call back NO appointment NO followup. Wow! Within one week I was diagnosed with a serious urologic issue which required surgery. He did an amazing job. Back to work the next day and as far as I am concerned, there is no better urologist. In fact, doctor.
