I am a surgeon and I have worked with Dr. Mann. She is thorough and careful and does a good job. I recommend her highly. I read the review by "Lucretia Borgia" and, as a doctor, I have a few thoughts. First of all, whenever people are being sedated for procedures in an office, you WANT your anesthesiologist to be very cautious. In an office you don't have the same ability to treat oversedation or adverse reactions to drugs. Sometimes people with developmental delays are more prone to those issues. Had the most disappointing and frustrating experience with this anesthesiologist. I have an adult son with special needs who required dental procedures. The dentist felt he could not provide all the care my son needed without being under sedation. He told me there is only one anesthesiology group he uses, which comes to the doctor's office. He said they would have to find a mutual time of availability on their schedules. The dentist's assistant worked to schedule the appointment.
