I had a Robotic Myomectomy done 6 years ago at Brigham Women's Hospital, Boston by Dr. Gargiulo. No issues since then. Now i moved to NJ and still went back to Dr. Gargiulo to do a hysteroscopic polypectomy. Both surgeries went extremely well, recovery was smooth. I was a patient of Dr. Michna for several years. I heard constant conflicting information as the years went on. He only peaks his head in for 5 seconds and has a student or fellow talk with you. He’s been unprofessional and and has been detrimental to my overall health.
I had been trying to get pregnant for four years before going to Dr. Gargiulo. He identified a 15 cm fibroid as an impediment to my fertility and recommended shrinking it with hormones for four months before performing a myomectomy to remove it. Dr. Gargiulo and his team are wonderful, professional, have the best bedside manner, and are truly the ONLY team that I would consider for this procedure! I was recommended to Dr. Gargiulo after going through IVF for preservation of embryos. We tried getting pregnant for about a year with another provider using IUI. Dr. Gargiulo was the first and only doctor to find and treat the endometriosis that was preventing a successful pregnancy.
