Dr. Hernandez has been our family pediatrician for 18 years, taking care of multiple kids in our family. She was absolutely fantastic when the kids were little and healthy, but as my oldest developed a chronic illness and as all of my children became teenagers, she lost her empathy and care. Great for healthy babies, not great for anyone above the age of 10 or anyone with a chronic/complex illness.
Always an excellent experience with her and this practice. Plan well in advance for healthy child visits, though, since she is frequently booked solid for weeks/months.
Trying to get ahold of this office is a nightmare. When I call to talk to a nurse, Im always put on hold from anywhere between 7-20 minutes just to have them take a message. Also they do not return calls in a timely manner.
