The wait in the front is always over 45 minutes, once in the room at least 30 minutes. Very unprofessional front and back staff, Then the Dr rushes in and says he is behind and cuts you off. The staff seem very unhappy and when I have to see a doctor for serious matters I don't need that environment.
Very personable,,, very nice bed side manners. Seems to care about his patients.
Dr. Woodruff was very personable. He took time to explain everything in detail and patiently answered all of my questions. I would recommend him. He was on time and that was nice.
I booked a procedure with Dr. Woodruff and last minute the office cancelled it. When I told them I was unable to rebook, commitments were made they basically told me tough. Save you time and money and go somewhere else more reliable. Is this the Dr or the office staff? It doesn't matter, you can't get the Dr. without the office.
I am a woman of 99 years of age and I have been to many doctors in my lifetime. I appreciated Dr. Woodruff's kind way of listening to me and of course the final treatment was assessed which I felt that he was thinking of his own mother and did a great job. Thank you again and we appreciate all everyone in the office did for us.
Good knowledge and takes time to explain but a bit pompous. Seems to have little respect for GP's and Lab workers. MD's with large egos can be somewhat of a challenge but one must ultimately decide for themselves if this type of personality is the kind of MD they want to interface with. Other good note, is appt on time!
Short version- I had a Vasectomy with Dr Woodruff. Prior to, the staff there told me my insurance covered the operation. I verified this 2-3 times. I had the operation, but after 4-5 months turns out the vasectomy did not work, so I needed another one. Dr. Woodruff did not bill me or insurance for the 2nd one. But, the 2nd one left me with some mild to irritating pain. Then I got billed for my 1st vasectomy, insurance did not cover it. Horrible experience to say the least.
Dr. Woodruff is an excellent doctor. I strongly recommend that you schedule an appointment with him. I had a robotic prostatectomy in which my stage 2 prostate cancer was totally removed and my margins and lymph nodes were clean and he was also able to save the nerves surrounding the prostate. He recommended kegel exercises prior to surgery and bladder training after. He has a proven process, is an excellent diagnostician, a very skilled doctor and has excellent communication skills.
Ive been under the care of a Urologist my whole life due to genetic disorders. As a new patient to him, he wouldnt listen to or believe anything I had to say about my medical history. He criticized the treatment plan of my prior Urologist, who retired. He denied refilling my prescription until a test was performed (which was scheduled). Without these meds, I get a bladder infection within 1-2 days! Then his nurse told me if I get a bladder infection to call my PC doctor for treatment. Epic fail.
